Doesn't get all the smoke

I still get smoke out the end of the device when I use it. I also have a smoke buddy and smoke buddy Jr., and they work far better. I think this is just too small to handle the volume of a large hit. Removed the exhaust end cap(comes off easily by hand) and added a piece of tissue(maybe a piece of dryer sheet?) to make it harder to blow through and slowing down the smoke to keep it from going out before it's neutralized. Might also be a way to refill it to!

A stealth must-have

This would be the second time in my history of using 1percent that I saw an item and thought "This is just too good to be true". I was very skeptical of the smoke-neutralizing ability but as with the last time (Jack Herer pipe and how hard it hits) I was very wrong and very happy to be wrong. With things getting very cold in my neck of the woods I was dreading having to smoke outside to mask the scent but since buying my first Hello Neighbor I've transitioned to completely smoking indoors 100% of the time with zero smell whatsoever. It's amazing and I would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to eliminate smoke scent for any reason. It's so good that the first time I used it my primitive reptile brain was confused, thought I hadn't smoked herbs after all, and was a little betrayed :P

Perfect for the DL

Sure you can make an acceptable alternative with a to roll and bounce, but these work better and look like lip balm. Perfect for the down low.

Hides the smoke smell

Just be sure and blow slowly into it as it is a filter that way all smoke goes to be cleaned.

Decent product

Perfect accessory for using a Launch Box in a restroom. The coconut scent isn't the greatest but it gets the job done.

I have gotten the vanilla nut twice. Really does cover up the smell especially in the car. It's better than anything else i've ever used.

Effective, discreet and convenient odor neutralizer

I have tried Vanilla Nut (my favorite), Jasmine (good for restrooms) and Orange. As mentioned, the printing comes off quickly but I rather like the look of a well-used lip balm tube rather than seeing the air freshener "advertising." I wish they lasted longer or had a small bottle of refresher to drop on the filter. My favorite use is with a dugout. I think they are expensive, for how long they last, but they are definitely effective and convenient.

Perfect

The perfect addition to my magic flight box. but works great with a pipe when I don't want my car to smell. Also good for a quick hit in my room. The carbon filter hasn't ever worn out for me but the scent fades away. In my experience the carbon filter by itself is plenty to rid the smell but it does feel clogged after a while.

Nifty little device

We enjoyed the Hello Neighbor but as mentioned; the ink printing rubs off and it becomes dirty quickly. Should try this product at least once -- just wish it lasted longer.

A must have....

Second time buyer of this product. We like to travel and when we do it is imperative that we are discreet. This little device makes that possible no matter where you are or what you are doing. My favorite is the Menthol (mint) scent since it can be used indoors (smoking facilities only) or outdoors (concerts and such). I found that since I am a non-smoker and wouldn't have butts in my car that the vanilla smells like my morning coffee....all in all great little product!!!

Great Product

Perfect for hotel rooms and public spaces - the unit does get a little dicey after using it for a while, but it does serve it's purpose.

I only bought the jasmine scent, however it smells like a bathroom. it works really well and is an amazing idea. I think i'm going to try a different scent next time

I don't use them very often but when i do i find they do work very well. Cant go wrong but remember its SMALL so don't expect a big hit of smoke to pass thru very quickly. Blow thru slowly.

Not Bad

Not bad, super convenient... Doesn't necessarily work better than a tube and dryer sheets, but the hello neighbor is much more convenient, less suspicious, and fits in your pocket.

I bought two of the hello neighbor products. From what I have noticed so far, the vanilla nut is not strong enough to cover the smell but the orange one definitely works great. I would recommend these, and I am going to purchase more myself. The ink was coming off when I received it as well, but for the overall purpose I really like this product and it does what I need it to

The hello neighbor is amazing! Works awesome when you want to smoke in your car. I got the vanilla nut which smells pretty nice. The only problem was that the printing kinda came off but I couldn't get it all off so I just found a chapstick sticker and put it on the device to camouflage it.

As others have said - this is an amazing product. I've shown it to others and they are amazed as well. I use it with a one-hitter in all kinds of places (ballparks, hotels, cruise ships) with great results. You can see something that looks like smoke blowing through when you exhale, but, all you smell is the fragrance! I like orange & jasmine for use in restrooms (smells like urinal cakes - lol) and vanilla for home (the most pleasant fragrance I think). Definitely a "must get"!

I love it! I just moved into an apartment and the people who own it did not want smokers (of any kind) so I purchased this product so I can still do what I love and live in peace!.. Product works excellently!!! I still spray a little deodorizer in between puffs just to be on the safe side. But even my friends say its smells great by itself :)

I've used this product a couple times, and thought it worked well....but unfortunately no one else was there to second that. Sometimes when I smoke and then spray air freshener, I can't smell the smoke anymore but have had people come in and say they could still smell the smoke. So it hasn't passed the true test yet.

Discrete, Stealthy and a Pleasing fragrance

The hello neighbor is a convenient, portable, no-toxic, smoke/ odor neutralizer. It effortlessly replaces one's exhale with a vapor of fresh scent. The only qualms I can bring up are that there should be a cap for the bottom and the print on the Hello Neighbor easily fades/ rubs off.

Good product

Stealthy disguises for the smell of smoke. I was replacing one I have had for 4 years . It still works very well, but I didn't want to share with every one. The scents are very strong and I open them to the air for a week in the garage before using in confined spaces. I have tried coconut, x-tra cool, orange and jasmine. My favorite fragrance so far is vanilla nut. Yum! Grate for sitting outside on the balcony for a puff. Hello Neighbor : )

It doesn't remove the smell of herb, but it definitely masks it. Also, it's hard to exhale through after a big hit. If you accidentally breath in, its gunna hurt.

Works great but...

This product works quite well at masking odors. I got a vanilla and menthol scented. The vanilla worked great for covering the smell of tobacco smoke, and the menthol was able to hide the smell of a strongly flavored tobacco, but I found the menthol would cause my lips and tip of my tongue to feel numb.

The only other draw back is that it due to the small size of the unit and the filter it is very slow to exhale though. I find it takes a lot of force to exhale quickly and it usually takes twice as long to exhale the smoke then it took to inhale it, so its not recommended for every day usage.

It's portability is the major selling point for me, and the fact it is discreet.

I enjoy the convenience of Hello Neighbor and it does what it advertises itself to do. Very glad HN is back, but I like to check out the sponge inside and with the new top it is very difficult to get it open. Got it open with a pair of pliers, though.
