Rating

This flavor does not taste or even smell very much like watermelon, but it is a good quality paper. I would recommend other flavors.

For those of you familiar to the Juicy Jay's line, the crisp and remarkable flavoring of their papers always compliments their slow and clean burn. Watermelon is such a sweet example. Unlike other papers who 'claim' a flavor but actually taste like cough syrup, JJ's Watermelon legit tastes like a sweet crisp watermelon.
For those unfamiliar with the Juicy Jay's line and are willing to take a lick, Watermelon is a great paper to start with. Clean burning and with safe inks, JJ's watermelon papers features an attractive red melon and seed design on the paper along with a strikingly familiar aroma of watermelons. These papers burn at a medium to slow rate and deliver sweet "Triple dipped" flavor at every puff. The aroma of the papers lingers slightly in the air while the flavor is slightly detectable in the smoke. At a 1 1/4 size, JJ's offers this perfect paper along with others in 34 other flavors for a sublime rolling experience. If you haven't tried the Juicy Jay's line, Watermelon is a great paper to start with. If you're a seasoned smoker, JJ's watermelon is a great paper to add boost to your roll. Superlative in every way. Nice going Juicy Jay's!

What's up with the flavored papers?

Last September flavored papers were pulled from the market due to a newly enacted tobacco law regarding flavored cigarettes. The FDA applied the law a little more broadly than anticipated so sales were stopped while awaiting clarification. Clarification is in. Flavored papers are not for use with Tobacco.

From Juicy Jay's:
Juicy Jays papers were previously sold for both tobacco and legal smoking herb use*. However at this time we have ceased selling the item for tobacco usage until further notice. We have recently taken extraordinary steps to ensure that Juicy Jays papers are sold only for use with legal smoking herbs.

We hope to obtain a ruling that will allow flavored papers to once again be used with tobacco. However until and unless that ruling is issued we will continue to refrain from selling flavored rolling papers for use with tobacco and we will take every reasonable precaution to ensure that our flavored papers are not intended to be used or actually used with tobacco.
