Keeps things moist but need to regulate it in terms of time and wetness to not attract mold. Once you figure this out it works great.

Love the size. Very happy with it, check it daily in product. Haven't had any prob with over dampness or mold but do need to move it around for even moisture in cont. Going to buy 4 all my friends.

Works well, but like Blitz236 says, a little too well. I find that if I don't carefully moderate the time I leave the Blimpie in with my products, I end up with pretty wet supplies. Stuff'll still smoke, but it begs a little bit of drying out. So, I just leave it in for a few hours at a time.

Also, I felt that the holes in the side were a little big, causing small particles of material to catch in the Blimpie. I may be a stickler for efficiency, but this will make the Blimpie a standard for quick baggie runs at most, since I can't rely on it to keep a solidly cured moisture level anyway.

As a result of these flaws, I like it, but it won't replace smearing some distilled water around the lid of my jars of tobacco and herbs. It allows me precise control of moisture levels, and may not work over the long term, but saves me on a humidor and doesn't over-wet like the Blimpie or lose material to it, either.

That said, if you just walk around with stuff in a bag, it'll probably work wonders for you.

Unlike economy humidifiers that can be found in cigar stores or small smokeshops, the Blimpie has a perfect balance of moisture flow. The Bimpie does not leave my herbs moldy or too dry. All I have to do is wet it, drop it in my herb jar, and it will continue to last 1-3 weeks depending on the jar size. The plastic design also prevents moisture drops for forming on the side of the Blimpie, hence, ending soggy-herb-nastiness. At less than $2 each, it cost waaaayyy less than a humidor but performs just as well!
